We are a group of researchers in Human-Centered Computing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who host regular meetups to discuss research philosophy, theory, and methodology within and beyond Human-Centered Computing. We invite participants from various fields, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Robot Interaction, Accessibility, Data Visualization, Communication and Technology, Human-Centered Data Science, Social Science, Usable Privacy, and Security, to attend the meetups. Participants outside of UW-Madison are welcome, too!
Our meetups include open discussions, short presentations, debates, reading groups, guest speakers, invited panels, and workshops. We gather scholars, thinkers, and makers across multiple disciplines and seek views and insights from people with diverse backgrounds.
When: From May 19th, 2025 Where: CS3310 and Zoom (link will be shared via email each week)
<aside> 💡 We are collecting open discussion topics and seeking volunteers to present papers. If you want to bring a video presentation of the paper, feel free to do so :)
